Flexible payment terms

No matter what your company’s credit history, you will be able to use the people4 sites.

Setting up your Buyer account

In order to set up a Buyer account, we need details of your company name and number, address and telephone number.

Please note that the person registering as a Buyer on behalf of the company must have purchasing authority within the company.

Payment on account

As a result of the reduced availability of credit and the changed economic situation, we are not always able to offer you or your company credit terms.

We have a facility to credit check companies, which is used at the point when you set up your first contract. These credit control procedures are in place because of our commitment to pay all Sellers of services that gain contracts through people4business, irrespective of whether or when we are paid by Buyers.

The result of this credit check will determine whether we will grant your company a credit limit and to what level. We will also take into account trading history – so a Buyer who is a customer of people4business limited and regularly pays invoices on time will be granted a higher credit limit. 

Pay-in-advance facilities

We may not be able to offer you credit terms, this may be simply because your company does not have an established credit history. In this situation, we will contact you to ensure that you agree to pay at least some of the contract value in advance.

We’re happy to be flexible

Please be assured that we offer very flexible pay-in-advance facilities and will work with you to agree a payment schedule that suits you.

When you award a contract we will contact you to discuss the amount that needs to be paid and the frequency of any ongoing payments.  

For contracts of just a few days we will usually require the full amount of the contract in advance.

For ongoing contracts, we are happy to discuss payment by regular instalments, so as to keep your Buyer account with us in sufficient credit.
