Registering as a Buyer

You should only register as a Buyer, on behalf of your company, if you have the authority to agree to the Buyer terms and conditions, on behalf of your company.

Who can register?

We are happy to accept Buyer registrations from limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and institutions.

All Buyers who award a contract will undergo a credit-checking process before we can offer payment on account. Until this is completed, or if your company does not have sufficient credit history, you may need to pay for contracts in advance. We are happy to discuss regular advance payments, rather than payment in full, if necessary.

Register as a Buyer and a Seller

When you register, you tell us whether you are a Seller or a Buyer. Using cookies, we tailor the information on the site depending on whether you are a Buyer or a Seller.

So, if you want to register as both a Buyer and a Seller, you will have to register twice.

Invalid e-mail

Invalid password

Your password must be at least eight characters in length. It must include at least one number.

How did you hear about us?

It is useful for us to know how you heard about the people4 sites.

If a registered Buyer or Seller told you about the site, please tell us their unique people4 ID number.

Under the requirements of data protection legislation, we need you to agree that we may contact you:

• In order to register as a Buyer on any of the people4 sites – including people4business, people4engineering, people4charity and people4web2 – you need to agree that people4business Limited can contact you for the purposes of managing the site and the effective running of your account.

• You are free to choose whether, or not, you wish to receive additional information from people4business Limited, or from selected affiliate partners or related companies.

Please provide us with information about your company.

Providing us with your Job Title / Role and Department information will allow us to direct any questions about your account. If these fields are not relevant to your company situation, please leave them blank.

Company name

If you are a sole trader, please put your own name, or your trading name.

Company type

We are happy to accept Buyer registrations from limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and institutions.

Address

The default address, for the purposes of registration, should be the company trading address. You are able to specify an alternative address, which may be the company registered address, for the purposes of invoicing, if necessary.

Invoices

If you wish to specify another name and address within your company for the purposes of invoicing, please do so here.

people4business Limited has a commitment to pay Sellers for every day that they work on contracts gained through the people4 websites.

Because of this, all of our Buyers undergo a credit-checking process when they award a contract, before we are able to offer payment in arrears.

Timesheets

The people4business invoicing process requires that Seller timesheets are approved within two working days.

Therefore, you should specify someone else in the company who is authorised to approve Sellers’ timesheets in your absence.

Terms & Conditions

In order to register as a Buyer on any of the people4 sites, you need to agree to the people4business Limited terms and conditions.

These include the undertaking that any subsequent contact with a Seller you have contacted through any of the people4business Limited websitess – including people4business, people4engineering, people4charity, people4web2 and our white-label sites for «Opportunities» and «Professional Contractors Group» – must be invoiced through people4business Limited contracts and timesheets.
