Buyers and Sellers 4 business
If you have checked out the site lately, you’ll have seen that more and more Sellers are registering with people4business. On September 1st we had 1,685 Sellers with 2,925 individual skills, and 173 companies looking for contractors.
We are extending our targeted marketing campaign this month to drive even more Sellers and Buyers to the site. This is timed to coincide with the autumn return to work after the summer break.
Contracts have already been awarded to Sellers in HR & Training, IT & Internet, Management Consulting, Media & Creative and Sales/Account Management. And we have new requests coming in all the time from Buyers looking for skilled individuals.
Our customer service team works hard to match up Buyers and Sellers, no matter what the skills you are looking for. We’ve already tracked down Sellers as diverse as Dutch-speaking trainers for courses in Rotterdam, a pattern cutter for the fashion industry and a media specialist to review a business-to-business publication.
Buyers – remember that we’re happy to help you find Sellers for your Projects. We’ll even create a shortlist of appropriate Sellers for you to choose from; and if you’re in a hurry and need someone now, we’ll find the ideal Seller who can start tomorrow!

Sellers – remember to check that you’ve selected absolutely all your skills – as it may be that skill you didn’t think to include that our Buyers are looking for. And do tell your contractor friends about people4business too. If they get a Contract after you have referred them to the site, you’ll benefit from 20% of our commission.
Seller Zone
Ratings: A reminder that you can now get a people4business Rating from previous employers. Simply go to your people4business Homepage and select ‘My Ratings’. We’ll contact all employers who give Retrospective Ratings, to make sure that our Ratings are consistent.
Remember: Buyers can sort Sellers by their Ratings, so it’s well worth five minutes of your time to update your profile!
Your CV: If you haven’t entered your CV details yet, we are happy to do it for you. Just e-mail your CV to us at seller@people4business.com.
Remember that Buyers may use your CV to make their final decision on a Project shortlist.
Keeping current: We know we said it last time, but it’s really worth your while to update your availability. If you’re not available for work at the moment, just let us know when you’ll be free so Buyers looking for someone at that time will be able to shortlist you.
Finder’s fees: Don’t forget to encourage your friends and colleagues to register with people4business using your unique identification number. When they gain a Contract through people4business, we’ll give you 20% of our fee as a ‘thankyou’. For more information, take a look at the Finder’s fee page.

Finding Sellers: Just a quick reminder that the easiest way to find a Seller is the four-stage approach:
- 1 Define Project
- 2 Search for Sellers
- 3 Contact Sellers
- 4 Award Project Contract
Our Sellers are getting more and more popular, so remember if you want to fill a Contract, get in touch with your shortlisted Sellers as soon as you can – before another Buyer awards them a Contract!

We’d really like to meet you in person, so we’ll use these newsletters to let you know about the conferences and exhibitions we’re attending. We’ve just attended the Sussex Enterprise Annual Conference and Exhibition in Brighton (on September 5).
