people4healthcare coming soon!

We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to the people4 group of sites. «people4healthcare» will provide the same easy-to-use services marketplace to the non-medical healthcare sector – both public and private health.
We’re launching people4healthcare in partnership with «Binley’s». Binley’s has been delivering specialist health and care information solutions to the public and private sector for over a decade.
The site will initially be marketed to 15,000 Buyers in the healthcare sector, so we’re confident that the partnership will deliver many more new Buyers and Sellers to people4.
Site improvements this month…
This month, we’ve implemented:
• improvements to the Buyer zone to make it easier to find the information you need. There’s an A to Z of all the Buyer pages and we’ve added a quick guide to finding a Seller.
• downloadable
Buyer guide on our home pages, explaining the people4 functionality and how it can be used for the best in your business or organisation.
• implementation of
printer-friendly CVs – a facility requested by Buyers who prefer to print and review Seller CVs.
… and coming soon …
We’re working on new e-mail functionality to allow Buyers and Sellers to contact one another through the sites. It will be significantly easier to manage your communication with Sellers, as all your e-mails will be recorded against individual assignments or contracts. More in the next issue!
The people4 team
With people4 getting busier all the time, Marcus Gray and Ellie Heathwood have joined our customer services team. Our expanded team should ensure that we continue to provide excellent levels of service to our Buyers, as our business rapidly expands.
We attended the «CIPD conference» in Harrogate, 16–18 September, and met a number of current and future Buyers! We’re looking forward to following up all the interest we attracted over the coming weeks.
Coming up, Managing Director Duncan Taylor will make a presentation to the Data Publishers Association (DPA) annual conference, on October 23. The DPA is the industry body representing data and directory publishers in the UK.
people4engineering and Adecco are soon to be featured in a DVD – Fit for Tomorrow – to be sent to 25,000 Confederation of British Industry members.
We’re also in discussions with a number of major organisations about new white-label sites that will bring in thousands of new highly skilled Sellers to people4.
Latest stats…
For latest counts, check out any of the people4 home pages:
40,387 Sellers – 2,488 Buyers – 7,523 skills … and counting!
Take the plunge!
Still feeling nervous about using the sites? Remember that you’re not committed to anything until the moment you appoint a Seller.
If you need some reassurance, you can see what other Buyers have thought, by looking at our testimonials page, which has comments from both Buyers and Sellers. Why not get in touch to tell us what you think?
If you’re wondering how the people4 sites can work with your current systems, we’re happy to help.
Just contact us to discuss your needs. And remember that we’re happy to provide on-site training for your recruitment and resourcing teams.
Think of us first!
Don’t forget: we can provide any contractor in any industry for any length of time.
Whether you need a Russian translator for an hour or a PHP developer for a year – no contract is too big or too small.
Don’t just use us when your usual agency can’t help. Use us for – and save money on – ALL your contracting needs!
Minimum wage to rise
A reminder that the National Minimum Wage rises on 1 October this year. The new rates will be:
• adults aged 22 and over: £5.73 an hour
• workers aged 18-21: £4.77 an hour (the ‘development rate’)
Please note that because of our commitment to non-discriminatory recruitment, we do not allow for identification of Sellers’ age (or gender, ethnicity etc.). As a result, all Sellers on the site are required to charge at least the adult minimum wage rate.
