The Directors of People4business Ltd recognise the requirement to conduct the business in such a way as to ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, that employees and others who may be affected by our operations are not exposed to risks to their Health and Safety. As a minimum, People4business Ltd will strive to fulfil both the spirit and letter of the law and in addition will take a proactive approach to achieve and maintain a safe working environment.

To achieve our Health and Safety aims we will:

• Provide adequate resources to successfully manage Health and Safety at work.

• Promote joint consultation and cooperation on matters concerning health, safety and welfare to ensure opportunities for effective participation by all employees, suppliers and contractors.

• Promote the development of a positive Health and Safety culture based on fairness trust and cooperation where all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported and we learn from any mistakes to prevent recurrence.

• Ensure that the level of risk from all significant Health and Safety hazards is assessed and, so far as reasonably practicable, eliminated or adequately controlled.

• Ensure that the level of risk from significant work-related driving hazards is assessed and, as far as reasonably practicable, eliminated or adequately controlled.

• Provide appropriate information, Instruction, training and supervision in Health and Safety matters to maintain the competence levels of all employees.

• Provide employees with safe equipment and working practices.

• Ensure that all employees are aware of and carry out their Health and Safety roles and responsibilities.

• Ensure effective communication of Health and Safety information.

• Continually monitor Health and Safety performance to ensure both the implementation and adequacy of this Policy including an annual review, or more frequently if required, of our compliance and performance.

• Ensure contractors engaged by People4business Ltd meet the Company’s Health and Safety standards.

The overall responsibility for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management throughout the company is vested with Duncan Taylor (Managing Director), and in which he is supported by Jackie Kent (Customer Services Manager), who will ensure this policy is implemented.

The Directors will conduct regular reviews of both the performance and relevance of this policy, annually or more frequently as required.
