Set up his own new company, Advanced Video Technologies (AVT) specialised in computers used for video applications, the new multimedia world for professionals. Had been using his knowledge in this field in developing and reselling of the new technology.

1992: AVT acquires exclusive distribution rights in Italy for Video Media, AXA, and in Europe for Colby Corp. 1993 AVT appointed as Italian distributor for Landmark, Dubner International and Diamond reseller for Micropolis Corporation.

AMPEX·1 1979 AMPEX training course on VPR 1 and TBC 1 (as end user).
·2 July 1979: recruited by AMPEX as field engineer for the installation program (including operators' training course) of the three machines edit system (based on VPR's 2 with editor controller) into all regional stations of RAI (Italian national television), installing more than 66 regional studio in the country.
Experience in the field of microprocessors allowing gain of significant experience in the growing market at the time of the first personal computers.
·1 1982: AMPEX responsible engineer for the installation of new network systems in South Africa and in Nigeria (NTA network) (including the relevant training courses).
·2 1985-1989 Appointed as AMPEX Service manager with responsibility for all RAI stations nationwide and customers in the central and southern area of the EMEA region.
Involved in the introduction of new technologies and new products to the market, with special interests in new computer graphics technologies based on MS-DOS PCs and Unix mini-computers. His experience on MS-DOS machines was improved by attending training courses on Pascal, CAD-CAM, Dbase programs, Quick basic UNIX and C programs.
Professional Qualifications
1972: Graduated from high school with a final evaluation of 51/60 and begun an electronic
engineering course at the University of Rome.
1975: Research team member of a bioengineering project at the Italian National Research
Centre (CNR) in a study of ultrasonic devices for medical diagnosis (Doppler analysis).
From 1979 till 1991 advanced training courses on a range of broadcast systems such as
AMPEX, Panasonic, BTS and JVC.
Languages: fluent in Italian (mother tongue), English, French and Spanish
