Working directly for the spine applications team, choose & books NHS. Dealing directly with each NHS practice on-site installing and configuring backbone applications across Yorkshire. Liaising with GP’s and practice managers for the effective deployment and configuration of systems relating to choose & books. This contract will be finished on June 16th. References can be obtained immediately.

Working for Dell HSB and BSD installation services for the last 17 months. Working independently, arranging my own work load direct with the customers onsite at their business or home. Duties involved the installation and configuration of desktop PC’s, servers and networks. Business services included installation and migration of operating platforms, Data and software. Effectively implementing Win2003 Server and setting up user accounts, mapping network drives, remote access service, virtual private networks and Microsoft exchange services.

Ministry of Defence , Cyprus

Relocation to Cyprus for two years, working for the Ministry of Defence at a key strategic intelligence location. Duties involved onsite IT Support for all end users and systems for military networks. Working to strict deadlines, in accordance with Joint Services Signal Unit policies. Liaising with high ranking officers for the design and implementation for future expansion of the Military networks. Due to the official secrets act I cannot give any more details about this job. I had full SC and above security clearance for this role but this was contract specific and time has now lapsed. Full details about this role can be obtained at MOD Whitehall, London. Systems Engineer for the Industrial Section

Avery Berkel Railweight

This role was extremely demanding covering UK and worldwide contracts working away from home up to 6 weeks at anytime. Duties involved installation, metrication and calibration of very high tech Computerised in motion measuring equipment under extreme conditions and supervising over twenty contractual staff. Every system installed was networked to four other systems using the first traditional R232 current loop specifications. Each installation was worth over £750.000 and had to be verified for installation accuracy by government officials including Weights & Measures.

Avery Berkel & Salter Weigh Tronix GEC Marconi

Duties included covering the south east of England dependency providing technical support to over 3000 major retail outlets. Maintaining and diagnosing faults to vital support electronic equipment. Supported almost 300 different types of equipment from electronic scales, NHS technical support apparatus, checkouts, touchcreens, ATM’s, Servers, computers and all networks related to Pacercats technical support. Made recommendations to higher management for cheaper but more technological and robust equipment saving the company some £25000 over a period of two years.

HM Forces L/Cpl in the Royal Engineers

My primary role was Combat Engineer which involved supporting frontline troops breaching enemy defences which included laying mines, field defences, demolitions and booby traps, field construction and building bridges. Part of 5 Airborne Para Division working closely with Special Forces effectively gathering intelligence and dealing with enemy combatants in various locations throughout the world. Highly fit and self motivated individual who can effectively work part of a team in extreme and dangerous situations.
