The business is owned by Charles Smee whose business development career began at the Financial Times and spanned across senior integrated Sales and Marketing roles for an FMCG manufacturer, two WPP multinational advertising agencies (Bates and Grey) and an Asian distributor.
Charles’ specialist skill set is planning, recruiting, motivating and developing campaign teams so that the brand communication message is clearly delivered and so that every sales and marketing dollar is optimised.
His direct experience ranges from building a national sales force of 80 staff within 3 years for Tait Asia to managing 63 Rothmans merchandisers.
He has also created and implemented pre-seller and customer service strategies for Hilti power tools, Channel sales and marketing campaigns for Coca-Cola Korea Bottling Corporation, and national sales launch strategies and in store promotions in Vietnam for Kellogg, H.J.Heinz and Cerebos in Vietnam as national distributor.
Charles has an Institute of Sales Promotion Diploma (ISP) and carried out a series of promotion campaigns and events for Fox TV for Kids, News Corporation, Allied Domecq and British Airports Authority (BAA)
