Final Project: Web based enterprise modeller – using VRML, Java and JavaScript. It allowed businesses to model their enterprise visually in an easy to use 3D environment over the Internet. Users can log on with their username and password and retrieve a stored model or start a new one. The models were composed of multiple buildings/objects representing branches/divisions of the enterprise and parties they interact with. Users could also model transactions, customers and suppliers along with appropriate interactions. All modelling could be done from a Java applet, which generated the VRML objects and interactions to be displayed in real time. The aim was to allow users in different locations to view, update and/or change the model online as a way of communicating information to the whole enterprise. It also used CORBA to achieve this. Information was stored in a mySQL database on a remote server
