Designed and implemented (C#, .Net, Windows Forms), a multi-threaded terminal client (serial port and rlogin) to provide automation of telephony equipment.
Architected a server (C#, .Net, Web Service) for engineers laptop authorisation and centralisation of customer equipment configuration.

Provided technical consultancy to an Active Directory UNIX integration project for one of the largest Active Directory installations outside of Microsoft. Automated Active Directory security changes required for repeated testing and role out (vbscript, WMI, ADSI).

Designed and developed a generally available Active Directory security product. It is an ASP.Net application in C# using Microsoft SQL server. Implemented with replaceable directory modules (for future support of Novell or Open Directories).
Extensive use of Virtualisation (VMWare) for development and testing complex, multi-forest, Active Directory environments on very limited hardware.

Wrote a complete MSI installer / uninstaller for deploying ITkeys, verifying all infrastructure dependencies including database deployment (please try the free version on the website).

Updated the standard web hosting platform for IIS 6 on Windows 2003.
Introduced Virtualisation (VMWare) for platform development, application system impact analysis and replication of production problems for support.
Consulted on the standard, secure DMZ build for Extranet and Internet application hosting.

Consulted on improving the management of the company Intranet and Internet solution (Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000 Server, Vignette, Microsoft Site Server and ASP).

Consulted to development teams / vendors and business projects on security and supportability. Provided third level support of hosted applications.
Designed and developed a company standard web application hosting platform. It allowed high consolidation of ASP, ISAPI and CGI applications from many dissimilar builds to one standard NT 4 Web server build. I also automated the system build for repeatable reliability.
Developed Intranet applications using ASP and Visual Basic 6 (COM / COM+) and Microsoft Transaction Server MTS. Developed shared infrastructure code including UNIX NT Web application authentication and authorisation services (early web service allowing for SSO).

Ported 8086 Assembly Language (MASM) and C wrapper code from the reference chipset to the in house developed chipset. Wrote batch scripts and simple assembly for automated testing of BIOS and DOS interrupt calls.
