Main duties include:
· Analysing the structure of the database associated with a purchased third party asset management software product.
· Creating a data dictionary detailing the structure and table relationships.
· Creating SQL queries to update and extract information.
· Amending lookup tables in the software and changing configurations.
· Analysing the interaction of the product with Microsoft SMS to investigate the cause of identified issues.
· Creating Design Specification to detail the functionality of the product.
· Developing test matrix and test scripts to validate the product
· Performing regression tests on the product post configuration changes.
· Investigating end user issues with the product and escalating to third party provider

Government NHS project tender.
Main duties included: -Providing user training to groups or an individual basis on a bespoke web based data entry application.
· Conducting full audit visits at hospitals by preparing audit packs, visiting the hospital to discuss processes, completing an audit form, writing up an audit report for sending to the hospital and the NJR centre; and finally performing a follow up review to identify progress on agreed actions and resolve any further issues.
· Creating and distributing an automated report for all regional coordinators based on an OLAP cube.
· Representing the NJR at national and regional events such as the British Orthopaedic Association annual meeting, British Hip Society annual meeting.
· Regularly meeting and discussing data report with senior orthopaedic surgeons to discuss the hospitals in the areas that they represent.

Main duties included:
· Processing Commissioning Data Sets data from hospital trusts using decoder software and importing into an SQL Server 2000 database.
· Creating views, linked Access tables and OLAP cubes and publishing these on the intranet.
· Ensuring all data requests both adhoc and statutory are completed accurately and timely.
· Co-ordinating receiving, validating and aggregation of data to fulfil statutory returns.
· Communicating the importance and the results of the data returns to various stakeholders.

Main duties included:
· Co-ordinating the receiving, validation and aggregation of workforce data to support national programmes.
· Communicating with various stakeholders regarding the purpose of data requests and the valid format for data.
· Investigating and developing the structure of the Workforce Monitoring Database to enable efficient data transfer and to be able to provide meaningful and useful information concerning the local workforce.
· Representing the Workforce Development Confederation at numerous stakeholder events.

My role was within a rapidly developing and changing department, which provided facilitation services for both private medical insurance members and external customers. I worked autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of nurses, midwives, operational managers, administration personnel and a developmental team. My role also involved liasing with Information Technology professionals, a medical team and numerous external customers.
I provided critical support through the production and analysis of information, this required the continual improvement and development of this information to assess and evaluate development opportunities within the healthcare market.
I developed databases and robust data validation mechanisms to support the Capital Hip Care Centre and the Trilucent Care Centre to enable accurate and timely information to be presented to the Department of Health.
Whilst at BUPA I attended numerous courses to develop my personal and technical skills in order for me to advance my role and expand my knowledge.
