I have worked in a variety of organisations such as Hedge Funds, Asset Management, National and European Defence, Software Houses and Media Companies. My focus is on delivering the best value solution to my customers. My belief is that added value generates revenue to business and business process and that IT should always look to add value to business processes rather than focus on technology itself.

I found that the CAB was a useful companion to the SOA architecture due to its loosely coupled paradigm. Used NHibernate for the ORM mapping for this project.

• Part of Greengrass Media development team which delivered a full end to end media delivery application for Pay per view TV Streaming Channel using Agile and Scrum methodology. Was the team lead driving Team Foundation Server usage and continuous integration tools for development. As a result was able to react to business requirements and deliver new functionality continuously. • Developed a TCP Listener to listen for Secure Web Requests over a SQL Server 2005 and Oracle backend, and encrypted SOAP messages using X509 Certificates. Developed application using the abstract factory pattern and developed the new secure web and soap application on time and within the pre-ordained budget.

It also appeared in the Financial Times as an example of a successful corporate web presence. I participated in the UML design, testing, coding and training within the implementation of this site. DSDM and Extreme Programming techniques were used in the delivery of this project.

• Implemented Web Services using a custom authentication module, digital signatures, encryption and soap requests to provide security for Web Service Transactions.

• I have utilised Log4Net to log application behaviour, NHibernate to produce faster object relational mapping on the database and NUnit to produce test oriented development components that fulfil test conditions before they are formally tested. Was involved in an extreme programming project using FX-COP to initiate best practice development techniques in conjunction with Microsoft UK. I have implemented a fully functional and secure login system using SSL, DPAPI assemblies and forms/authentication ticket based authentication. This was implemented using object relational mapping technologies, which increased the speed of the application by 20%. I have also been involved in implementation of the caching strategy for this product.
