Silent Night GroupResponsibility for management of projects to resource supplies of furniture from the Far East followed by complete plant and site disposal. Producing MSProject plans to concurrently close two large factories which involved working with the group directors at the early stages to plan personnel retention and redundancy dates, media announcement timings all of which were commercially confidential. Stocks build scheduling, closure of manufacturing sections, planning cleanup operations and removal of archive data, cessation of utility supplies. Working with JDE (MRP) system software which had not been tailored to suit the business / manufacturing profile, the site was continuing manufacturing to build sufficient stock to satisfy customer orders and build a buffer stock leading up to full outsourcing. This required formulating complex Excel spreadsheets to extract the necessary data and present this in an easily understood format for the manufacturing section of the business. Tracking of progress was a combination of Excel spread sheets showing stock levels, actual sales, despatches, manufacturing output, numerically and graphically with MSProject to track actual progress. In the latter stages of the project my involvement also included arranging for removal of archives and for the destruction of confidential information. Liaising with auction staff before, on the auction day and during the machine and equipment removals. Assisting with decommissioning of the computer systems and network routers and UPS systems

Identifying and vetting plastic moulding companies that could provide technical moulding for the dispense portion control valve and blow moulded/ bag-in-box containers manufacturers to which the portion control valve assembles. Part of my remit was the identification of beverage syrup components supply companies and companies to complete the assembly, filling, labelling of the two types of containers.
Anticipated volumes of the dispense system in the first year are 1 million, rising by year three to 15 million. Multi-cavity tooling identified as being necessary to supply the first 18 month volumes and to reduce the component cost.
Heading reliability team to resolve new product production problems, using Pareto analysis of failures to direct resources for fast tracking solutions through to elimination of failures. Set up fault diagnostic system, with fault coding to record beta site machine installation failures on MS Access database for analysis.
Technical liaison as part of a team sourcing components from China and the Far East.

Site/Project management installing a new and radical overhead conveying system for the food industry involving management of 35 multi-disciplined German, Swiss, engineers and subcontractors.
