Responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of new projects, upgrades and enhancements for Proficientis clients. Acting as senior developer and Project manager on all projects. Manage and develop bespoke web applications from design to completion.The work is carried out in my spare time and does not affect my main job role.

Working on an initial 6 month contract at Kellogg’s UK head office to deliver a European Quality Hold Management (EHMS) application. This application is used in all European markets to manage quality holds of a product. This contract was extended to develop a new application to manage packaging scrap requests across the European markets (EPSR). Both systems weredeveloped in Visual Studio 2005/2008 and uses extensive Javascript and AJAX to improve the user interface and experience, this utilises both the Microsoft AJAX Control Toolkit and handcrafted Javascript. Currently working through an upgrade strategy for Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005.
Introduced software development and release procedures to ensure best practise for rollout of solutions to the production environment.

Responsible for producing websites according to specified customer requirements and to deal with issues reported concerning existing sites. Site construction is performed using the bespoke AstraZeneca Web Framework product.

Websites conform to W3C Web standards.
