• As Sales Director of ACT Financial Systems (ACTFS) during the early 1990’s, led the company to be the dominant supplier of securities processing systems in Central and Eastern Europe, achieving 18 sales in 2 years.
• As COO of ACTFS, responsible for the business development strategy of the company following its acquisition by Misys plc in 1995.
• As COO of ACTFS drove revenue from £20m in 1995 to £58m in 2001. Profits increased from £2.1m to £11.3m over the same period.
• As COO of ACTFS led the assimilation of 4 acquired businesses, namely Fujitsu Securities Pty in Australia, Group SIP S.A. in France, EDS Citymax Plc and Synopsis Plc, both in the UK.
• As COO of ACTFS and jointly with the CEO, restructured the company into 2 separate businesses to create Misys Asset Management Systems and Misys Securities Trading Systems.
• As CEO of Misys Securities Trading Systems (MSTS), formed the new Board of Directors. Staff headcount of 276 operating as 8 subsidiary companies with offices in the UK, Europe, the Far East, Japan and Australia.
• As CEO of MSTS, led the corporate identity and re-branding of MSTS
• As CEO of MSTS led the business turnaround of the company from £1.6m loss to £0.746m profit in two years.
