As the Production Editor for two bi-monthly journals (Expert Opinion on Drug Metabolism & Toxicology and Expert Opinion on Drug Discovery) and Project Manager for a quarterly journal (Expert Opinion on Emerging Drugs), responsibilities include:
• coordinating and organising monthly production schedules
• assigning various production tasks among a team of production editors
• typesetting manuscripts, proofreading and making editorial corrections
• redrawing and editing figures and chemical structures
• producing pages for print and creating XML and PDF files for online use
• liasing with authors and printers
• communicating and discussing decisions with commissioning editors

Theatre Assistant
As a theatre assistant in the Main Theatres department within The London Clinic (an independent hospital), responsibilities included:
• participating in the correct handling, opening and presentation of sterile packs/instruments and consumables for use
• checking patient’s notes, in particular, consent forms and confirming with patients
• assisting in receiving, handling and dispatching clinical specimens
• escorting patients from the wards to theatre for an operation being aware of their comfort and dignity at all times
• assisting with the transfer of patients between beds, trolleys and operating tables, as well as and positioning them for clinical procedures, while maintaining safe practice and authorised techniques
