Solely responsible for all design and development, from the initial hosting and content requirements and conception through to the final implementation. I (CEO, Reuters) requested an externally hosted blog that would be personal, light hearted at times and easy to update. The deliverable was capable of accepting content via any computer with internet connection worldwide, or via Blackberry, mobile phone or through any email client. The infrastructure for the blog consists of a web based application enabling entries to be posted from multiple accounts with varying degrees of administration rights. The infrastructure also allows for the public to become registered users of the site and post their comments on each individual blog entry while maintaining full control over the moderation of their content. The blog website also includes a Photo gallery, Audio files, Videos (within a custom Flash player) and blog posts which are published into Atom, OPML and XML feeds.

I-Web Template Redesign:
Oversee the redesigns of the intranet templates and code the final designs in CSS and HTML that would comply with accessibility issues while maintaining the refreshed design. The resulting code allowed all text to be increased in size from within the browser, all held within an elastic layout to make the most of larger screens without using any tables and was compatible with both IE and Firefox. The code was written in conjunction with members of the RNIB and involved undertaking their training in Web accessibility.

Content Management implementation:
Assisting with the implementation of the current global Reuters intranet into the Stellent Content Management system. The Reuters I-Web encompasses over 1000 sites and is part of the Intranet Benchmarking Forum along side the best corporate intranets worldwide.

Seasonal campaigns, creating designs for the website homepage, promotional banners and advertising graphics to use for affiliate marketing online, all maintaining the Figleaves brand values. Designing emails, newsletters and correctional imaging of model photographs for use on the site. Design and creation of printed vouchers the seasonal printed catalogue.

Design and code weekly emails within demanding deadlines with frequently occurring last minute changes from the marketing team, implementing a core-matrix system to allow tracking of users paths while navigating to and through the site.

Layout, conception, design and creation for two web sites involving authorities working in partnership with Surrey County Council for the internet (awaiting final testing before public launch).

Working with clients of limited internet experience to identify their needs and what their websites should cover including publication of information required under the Freedom of Information Act. Sole responsibility for the sites, developing and creating the web solutions incorporating Flash Actionscript, XML, JavaScript, and PHP. The websites were developed such that they could be maintained by the content owners after their launch.
