Additional Information

Looking for Work and Training 01/2006 - 03/2006
This was a period of starting training for my MCSD and looking for work. In addition I acted as producer on a small film project, regularly updated the web site www.sharedcreation.com and completed a digital image manipulation course with the University of Wales (for 20 degree points and with UWIC).
Skills: HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, Project Planning, Photoshop, MS Office, Windows XP, Mac OS

Business Courses / Business Startup / Training 10/2005 - 12/2005
On returning from the Grande Tour Project I worked full time on looking into starting an information service and exchange point for people interested in Film Making and Digital Media. To enable this I took some business training, developed test Access databases and took additional time training in PHP. Unfortunately I was unable to secure the required funding to start the business. At that point I started to look for other work and created the blog site http://www.sharedcreation.com as a hobby and a means to help keep my web skills up to date.
Skills: MS Office, Access, PHP, Project Planning, Crystal Reports

The Grande Tour (Career Break with Web Updates) 02/2005 - 10/2005
The Grande Tour was a career break and round the world trip. Its purpose was to provide convalescence for my-self and to raise awareness for two Welsh Charities. During the trip I ran a web site and account of the journey. Publicised by leaving things for people to find about the trip where-ever I went. The trip accomplished aware-ness-raising for SNAP Cymru and Project Hover and help my convalescence. I also did some voluntary IT sup-port work for an accountancy firm in Sydney and some of the other places I stayed.
Skills: MS Office, Windows Support, HTML, Photoshop, HTML, Project Planning

RECREATION AND HOBBIES
I am a keen digital artist and enjoy spending time taking photographs and working on images (in Photoshop). It’s also important to me to keep fit and I cycle and exercise regularly to try and maintain this. Performance is a key part to my relaxation; I am a core member of Fear of the Dark a group that produces several horror orientated ‘murder mystery’ style events each year. My role here primarily involves story playing various roles to progress story-lines and script writing. I continue to maintain and update http://www.sharedcreation.com.
