Overview of role: Part of a team of Senior Risk Based Test Consultants responsible for the delivery of End To End Test Scenarios between Implementation projects for the merger of two oil organisations. All project were Risk Based, as we had to identify possible gaps and prepare a register of the risks, analyse the reason for the gaps by discussing the risks, assigning scores (usually 1 – 5) and determining the exposure, mitigate on best solutions for the gaps by formulating best test objectives and techniques to be used, repeat the process.

• Liaised with different staffing levels from the beginning to the end of the project
• Maitained a Risk Based Register throughout the duration of phase of the Implementation Project Based End to End Testing
• Assigning risks (probability and consequence) scores and calculating the exposure (probability * consequence) to test
• Derived set of Test Objectives and selected the appropriate test technique to be used

Responsible for the delivery of Functional Regression Packs, making sure that all packs were fit for purpose in the time to market that was allocated to the delivery. All projects were based on a large Chordiant Based Customer Relationship Management system including a J2EE based delivery too, running across a Unix (IBM AIX) and Oracle 91i Platform and Oracle 9i platform. All projects integrated with host systems running on IBM OS390 and Unisys hardware. Initially used QTP 8.2 for Functional Automation, but later moved on to QTP9.2

Test Lead role on HBOS Windows XP rollout, a multi million project delivering over 70,000 desktops to the user base. Working within the Application Delivery Test Team I am responsible for ensuring applications that have been MSI packaged are fully tested before being delivered to new desk tops. Business areas that were involved were Financial Services; Retail; Intelligent Finance; Corporate respectively.

Was a Test Analyst on various projects respectively. All roles entailed me to establish that they were fit for purpose.. I also co wrote Software Testing Standards for the organisation. I wrote Software Testing Standards for the organisation and performed testing for a number of projects (SwapClear, RepoClear, IDRiS (Intra Day Risk System (This encompasses LIFFE, LCP and LME Risks and Margins), etc)). I also used Sybase to interrogate, manipulate, present and house data for future purposes. I also updated TestDirector whenever a defect was found so that they were quickly isolated and were treated with the appropriate measures. I used UNIX to install backend software, generate log files and to ftp files to and from Windows. I also used MSDOS to ftp. All environments worked on were of Client/Server technology. We also used Winrunner 7.0 to run Sanity And Regression Test respectively. Also used TestDirector 6.0 to manage the whole Testing process
