Using my SQL Server and Business Intelligence skills to deliver statistics based on SUS patient records. These statistics include delivery in the form of metrics, measure groups, standard deviations, charts and tolerance levels using mainly T-SQL to prepare the Fact tables and Dimension tables then using MDX to perform further analysis within the cubes. These statistics are presented in reports and charts using SSRS which can be rendered in various formats such as Excel, PDF or CSV. Further reports are being delivered using SSIS, SSAS & presented on SharePoint and SSRS. T-SQL was used when required to implement specified business rules. All the deliverables both technical and none technical were checked into SourceGear. Maintaining and adding functionality to a vehicle recognition system for the Channel Tunnel. Created a program, VDB (Vehicle DataBase) which stored details of vehicles. This was an application written in Visual C++. Created VQM (Vehicle Query Manager) in MS Access inc. VBA and SQL, which searches the output of VDB. Vehicle Query Manager and Vehicle DataBase were extended to cope with storing and searching very large amounts of data, i.e. 30Gb+. The Visual C++ source code was fully incorporated into source code version control similar to Visual Source Safe.

Maintaining a back office restaurant / hospitality system which is based around a mainly DOS platform Stock Control package called StockLink, written in C and C++ using Btrieve as the database engine.

Enhanced their Retail POS application, designed in C. Created a customer accounts / loyalty facility, and upgrade utilities for use within the POS. The C-tree database engine was used to meet database requirements. Technical documentation was created incl. creation of the data dictionary for this product.

Designed a Fashion Stock Control System. This system was linked to an integrated accounts package in a language called TAS Professional. Created a Sales Order Processing module which updated nominal, sales and stock control on a real time basis.. For the Fashion System the customers’ requests were dealt with direct. Designed a prototype of a Restaurant Point of Sale System using C++ / Object Orientation. I made this multi-user. Completed various other maintenance / enhancement projects.

Designed a Sales Analysis application for the above. I used a relational database for this and carried out all the stages of analysis and design, from agreeing the specification to implementing the project. The project was well structured and documented.

Our website runs on DNN (DotNetNuke) so any solution must fit into this framework.
