Employment History
(2008 to 2009)
Partner
• I currently work for a partnership, which supplies eServices on variable document publishing, Web2Print, cross-media marketing, secure data management, and bespoke solutions.
• I manage the complete software life cycle, and also participate in customer relationships, sales and aftersales activities, as well as R&D with the support of Edinburgh Napier University.
• We mainly develop solutions around Microsoft .net, SharePoint, Pageflex, and SQL Server, and we have a number of customers in the public and private sector.
(2008 to 2009)
Research Fellow
• Assisted in several funding applications, such as FP7, TSB, and POC calls.
• Experimentation at Chelsea & Westminster hospital using a bespoke RFID-enabled solution for objects identification, with the support of Cisco, UCL University, and GS1standards.
• Successfully supervised several honours and MSc students in IT & Healthcare, clinical trial workflows, reporting services for patient records, security of clinical data, and so on.
(2006 to 2008)
Knowledge Transfer Partnership
• I worked as a software project manager for a large printing company through a joint Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP) with Edinburgh Napier University.
• I delivered a software infrastructure that supports personalised digital solutions, marketing campaigns, and Web2Print services, as a transparent end-to-end process (concept-to-print).
• I managed the software life-cycle of several projects for a number of customers, including Standard Life, Law Society, etc, and assisted in the transition towards healthcare applications.
• Technologies used: Microsoft .net, SQL Server, and Pageflex.
(2000 to 2006)
