Home1. Developed using HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and Python the following projects on Liberate and are live on Virgin Media’s Cable Network:
1.1. Chat Box, an un-moderated adult chat service designed to promote lively conversation in a TV environment.
1.2. Telemessenger, a messaging service for sending messages to and from set-top boxes and mobile phones
1.3. Gamehog, a collection of games under the Gamehog name and portal, games include Armageddon (Turn based strategy), Depth Charge (Networked Battleships), Draughts, Ningo (Maths Based Bingo), The Daily Word (Word Puzzles), Train Trap (Pipemania type game) and Worddrop (Letter dropping word game).
1.4. Kidsclub, a portal featuring a jokes section, picture gallery and birthdays page along with a selection of games designed for kids aged 3-12 years. The games include Noughts and Crosses, Memory Match (Pairs), Word Wizard (Hangman), Grid Mayhem (Squares) and Line-em Up (Connect 4)
1.5. Kidstime Play & Learn, a children’s portal featuring the following games, Blues Clues (Clue Finding), Dora The Explorer (Maze Game), Miffy (Pairs), Bagpuss (Matching Mice), Wind In The Willows (Story Book), Noughts and Crosses, and Flutterby Butterfly (Picture Reveal).
1.6. Puzzlemania, a set of puzzle games and portal. The games include Judoku, Mirror Crosswords, Word Search, Word Grid, Number Grid and Trevor. I wrote the Liberate front end to Puzzlemania and made updates and fixes to the games as necessary.
1.7. Big Brother Plug It In, this was the Big Brother game for Channel 4 in 2005, based around an old game called pipemania were the player had to plumb pipes for the flow of water. For Plug It In the idea was to lay cables from the power socket to the camera avoiding lawnmowers and housemates who would appear and move randomly in the game.
2. Developed using Ensequence On-Q the following projects to run on Sky:
2.1. Big Brother Plug It In, please see liberate description above.
2.2. Channel 4 Worddrop. A port of the Liberate version of Worddrop from Gamehog to OpenTV. New graphics were used and game play was basically the same - letters drop down and the player selects them to build up a word, each level requires more and longer words.
2.3. Turtle Twist. A technical demo written using Ensequence On-Q. The game was a "columns" clone and was produced as a demo game for Freethinking and Ensequence
3. Developed using HTML, JavaScript and CSS for the IPTV browsers Oregan, Ant Fresco, Ant Galio a version of Chat Box, this is currently not live on any platform as yet.
4. Administration of Linux based servers, managing various server processes (MySQL, Apache, etc).
5. Participation in meetings and liaison with a number of companies including Flextech, Channel 4 and Virgin Media, where I either advised on best practice and what could be improved on a number of projects. I also helped to come up with new ideas for projects.

The application comprises of some asp.net 2.0 web pages with a SQL server 2005 back end - 15 tables and views with a set of pages (list, add, edit, view) for each plus login, registration and menu pages. Based upon transactions (adding and editing), the application sends out email with content, subject and addresses from the database.
- Web Developer: Brand new business start up. Want to create an interactive broadband video site. Streaming will be done by another company but I want to develop a way to ingest video content quickly into a central web site. Also need to develop the web site from scratch. Need experienced Web developer with experience of content management tools such as Joomla.
