I was working between Commercial Property, Matrimonial and Wills & Probate departments. My work involved drafting letters, legal documents, liaising with clients and solicitors, as well as performing secretarial duties, such as audio- and copy-typing, and proofreading.

Working as a legal secretary / receptionist in a Clinical Negligence department.

I was mainly involved with audio-typing, as well as some other secretarial duties, in a Matrimonial department.

Working as a part of Customer Service team at the UK’s largest distributor of mobile phones, I was undertaking data-entry and certain administrative duties, such as dealing with customers’ email enquiries and raising orders. I developed the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines in a very busy environment and improved my understanding of corporate email etiquette.

I was working at the HR Department and carried out extensive amount of work on the filing system. Despite that fact that most of the undertaken work was tedious and repetitive, this role enhanced my patience, diligence and ability to pay attention to detail.

The work involved attending police interviews, Magistrates’ and Crown Court hearings, sitting behind counsel on behalf of the firm, and undertaking office duties (typing letters, briefs, statements, covering reception etc.). As a result, I gained an insight into the police and court procedures, as well as developed my interview, audio-typing, telephone and writing skills.
