Assisting in collating and producing various documentation as part of the TCoE based within Fenchurch Street, via utilising my skills, experience and developing various processes and procedures that can be used as a skeletal basis for Testing Documentation and MI.

I am the Global Test Manage for an Expense Management system being implemented to the Shell City based offices around the world.
My main duty is to analyse the current testing Methodologies being used and implement new procedures and processes and to steer the project to the Shell SOx (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliancy.
My main team of testers are based in Malaysia and this involves continuous telecoms meetings in order to get the new procedures accepted, this will then be adopted as the way in which not only the EMS project will be based but also adopted globally and assist Shell’s testing practices to be carried out to a higher standard

I was working in Leeds, Yorkshire within the Reporting Services and responsible for the management /design and implementation for all aspects End to End Testing for the Integration test model for the national NHS Integrated Reporting Systems.

Was assigned to this role to assist in the investigation of the Testing Services Processes and Procedures currently being used as part of the Testing Services CMMi assessment that was carried out by Lamri (CMMi consultants)
This initially involved I attending a 3 week workshop that was carried out by Lamri on the Project Services, from this workshop came a number of issues that were highlighted as areas that required further investigation in order for this area to attain CMMi level 2.
The CMMi workshop for Testing Services was carried out prior to my arrival on this site but the assessment was forwarded to me by the Senior Test Manager.
From this information we were able to formulate a plan of action for Changes to be carried out within Testing Services and it was my responsibility to investigate the Critical areas of change that were required by the Senior Test Manager.
I therefore initiated investigations into the Productivity, Configuration Management, Change Management and Requirement Management areas which resulted in a number of Plans being produced.
These plans were designed to assist in the formation of Performance Action Teams (PATs) which are basically a group of personnel who have the knowledge in the defined areas that are capable of carrying out the investigations and reporting the results for each.
From these results a new Change Process was to be formulated in order for the CMMi assessment areas to be fulfilled.

Was working in Telford, Shropshire, on an Inland Revenue (New Tax Credit) Project in Partnership with EDS.
My position is to lead a Test Team of twelve, to ensure the smooth running of all deliverables into the System Test.
My main duties included:
Management of twelve System testers, this involves daily contact with each to ensure that there are no major issues with the functions they are testing and that they are carrying out the correct procedures according to the test being run.
Also to reallocate the resources as and when necessary to ensure that those functions that have a high business criticality are covered and fully tested and to ensure any issues that may arise are resolved, to ensure that the time scales are running to plan.
Providing a Test Plan and Strategy for the testing off all functions allocated to the team.
Managed the Defect management system and liaised with the relevant development teams in providing quick releases for continued testing.

Hutchinson 3G is a Multimedia company providing GUI screen based applications to various mobile phone manufacturers, I was responsible for the Testing of various product based applications.
All Test Plans and Scripts are input and run from Test Director V7.2, all defects are recorded through the same system.
Responsible for co-ordinating with the Project Manager, Business Analysts and developers in respect to arranging and attending regular meeting to analyse the Priority of the faults raised for the next release.

I was responsible for the running a team of between 8 and 18 UAT and System testers.
When I first joined Magex the System and UAT teams were both testing the same level of code on the similar environments, I implemented processes that involved the setting up of new test environments that were solely used by either System testers or the UAT team.
I also was instrumental in setting up a QA process in which all testers were given specific Projects to cover and I was instrumental in ensuring the Test Plans and Test scripts were in accordance with the relevant Functional Specification, Business requirement or work request.

I therefore acted as the Test Manager / Test co-ordinator to ensure all areas are covered in the plans and scripts produced and/or to liaise with the business to rectify any queries relating to the areas of test.
The Functional specification, Business requirement and work request were analysed in order to develop a defined Test Process methodology which enabled individual test scripts to be developed to test individual components of the system, this obviously saved time in the re-testing of certain parts of the system.
I was involved in liaising with the developers and team members during all phases of the testing to ensure that all raised errors have been planned into the next release schedule/s, this was done via various test meetings.
I also ensured that all errors fixed in each release are re-tested and the error log is updated.
I was also responsible for producing the test plans, scoping documents and scripts for additional functionality that may warrant full regression and financial testing.

I was responsible for co-ordinating the Year 2000 testing team within the research and development business unit where my main duties included producing year 2000 compliance and user acceptance test plans and scripts for the business users and liaising with the system developers in reporting errors.
Involved in the upkeep of a Year 2000 environments database that contained all information regarding systems to be tested, dates, PC and Server configuration.
The role also involved the production of a Year 2000 Project Plan and scripts to replace a business critical FTP application.

I was working for SeeBoard (SEEB) as a Test co ordinator where I was responsible for the continued monitoring and management of the Central Integration and Design Authority CIDA defined test scripts that are designed to test the systems and Business processes of all participants entering the Electricity deregulatory market.
I therefore ensured that all users were conversant with the relevant scripts and demonstrate their capability in following the Business processes accordingly and liaise closely with the CIDA witness in providing evidence of the flows and information input to the Customer database.
CIDA was the Authority that regulated the types of tests that were to be run by each participant applying for a deregulatory licence for the Electricity market.
