Achieving this through database auditing (removing redundant Lotus Notes files), Implementing, archiving to a cheaper storage, Implementing quotas, adherence to quotas via good practice and proper use of mail. Designed Global Architecture for the new Lotus Notes / Domino infrastructure. Consolidation Project of the old Domain at the Linpac Group. Global user community of 4500, upgrade of Lotus Notes clients and Domino servers from R6.5 to R8x, developed best practice standards to the live and development Domino environments. Migrated none-Domino sites (MS Exchange) to Domino. Introduced and implemented collaborative tools such as Sametime 7.5.1 and Quickr 8x. Developed strategy for BES on Domino and Domino Web Access for the Group. Implemented Domino 8x servers at sites in Poland, Spain, France and Germany. Introduced new primary address of linpac.com for all users which was aliased to old divisional addresses. Project involved immense planning, logistics and liaising with different stake holders within the business as well as outside vendors and consultants

Analysed server problems, outages, performance monitoring, fine-tuning servers, health checking, capacity planning. Support of 8 IronMail servers. Support of servers during business hours and occasionally, out of hours, 24/7. Support of server back-ups (daily and monthly back-ups)

Notes Development- Support of Lotus Notes clients and associated applications using the Peregrine Service Centre helpdesk tool. Mail file issues, template problems, debugging applications, mail routing issues and general Lotus Notes configuration and application design issues on laptops, desktops both locally and via Citrix

Special Projects - Upgraded Domino servers from R6x to R7x & Lotus Notes from R4x & R5x to R6x. Migration of Domino servers from AS400 to AIX. Upgraded ScanMail.

This infrastructure was consolidated to two sites (due to clustering) in Dublin. Worked on a major project for the Bank of Ireland. Project involved transforming the Domino / Lotus Notes infrastructure to one single efficient manageable domain that had new Domino & Lotus Notes administration standards and procedures. Users were migrated to new servers running on Windows 2003 from R5 to Domino 6.5. Clients were upgraded from Lotus Notes R5 to R6.5.2.

The old domain had 38 Domino servers (Mail, Application and Web servers) across the UK and Rep. of Ireland in various domains and locations. This infrastructure was consolidated to two sites (clustering) in Dublin. The new Infrastructure involved one Administration server cluster (two servers), one Hub server cluster (two servers), four Mail server clusters (two servers each) and one Application server cluster (four servers). Installed, configured and supported the iNotes server, the Lotus Enterprise Integrator 3.1 server, Domino Sametime 2.5 and QuickPlace servers. Implemented, configured and tested every facet of Domino & Lotus Notes R6 and new releases of Lotus products (e.g. QuickPlace 3.0 and Sametime 3.0) in the Lotus Early Deployment domain.

Integrated the Lotus Development Corporation’s Domino / Lotus Notes infrastructure into the IBM domain. Reconstructed the Notes / Domino architecture. Migrated Lotus Notes mail and applications in to the IBM domain. Installed, configured and supported Windows 98/NT4/2000. Installed, configured and administered Windows NT4 servers. Back-up & archiving, network protocol (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX) and security knowledge and experience.
