Project Manager under the Head of Benefits

• Successfully implemented Northgate Docs and Workflow into the
department within five months.
• Managed migration testing, system build, installation of scanners, creation
of document types and the introduction of bar-coding into the authority.
• Coordinated the project team providing direction on job roles and allocating
tasks in accordance with the project plan.
• Liaised closely with IT support to develop SQL scripts written in house to
provide better system functionality such as routing rules.
• Handled communications between the supplier and client to deliver
solutions where issues and conflicts arose. This provided a clear and
effective way forward.
• Trained staff in the use of Northgate Docs and Workflow from clerical to
management level.
• Designed the team structures and workflow procedures to help route work
by alpha split to individual assessors.
• Managed and delivered the writing of new policy, training notes and
procedures to complement the new workflow system.
• Re-wrote standard letter templates, which were delivered through
Northgate's DTI interface.
