Contract role. Based in Strategic Sourcing dept. Responsible for negotiating multi vendor software development contract terms and conditions for the bank's Front End Replacement Programme, circa £30m. The technical solution for the Programme was a mix of bespoke development and systems integration.

Stage managed UK bank's migration to the new international banking network S.W.I.F.T. IP network for Global Payments Broker and the CREST system. This was a global project involving 136 countries who each had to migrate to secure IP connectivity within their own country window as dictated by S.W.I.F.T

Originally employed on a contractor basis, became permanent member of staff in September 99, and subsequently promoted to Senior Procurement Officer.

Provide consultancy to members in the Division and on a Group-wide basis on licensing of software Microsoft Select, Oracle, Novell, Cisco, Norton Anti Virus, and the introduction of a Voice over IP telephony system.
