Working for a local engineering company as a classified nuclear fitter,supervisor.involved in all mechanical fitting activities, all pipe work installations,also materials ordering and working with engineers to determine time scales and prices and all relavant permits and paper work required for the tasks.

Working at various sites throughout the country, involved in the fabrication and installation of all sized pipework for the nuclear power and petro-chemical industry. End of contract 25th January 2002.

MOTHERWELL BRIDGE SERVICES, B.O.C PORT TALBOT

Installation and fabrication of all sized pipework. Involved in the fabrication of carbon steel pipe, from 24 inch to 2 inch either from isometric drawings or site run. Installation support for pipework, pressure testing etc.

PRC ENGINEERING

Refurbishment at an electronics factory in Pontypool, fabricating and installing a new 6 inch gas main, 4 inch air lines, instument air, water etc.

INDUSTRIAL PIPEWORK SERVICES

Employed as a pipefitter, involved on various projects at the Purolite International Chemical Plant in Pontyclun.

1996 - 1997

DMD CONTRUCTION

Employed as a pipefitter at the Ocean Technical Glass Plant at the Cardiff Bay Development. Duties included fabrication and installation of various size pipework both welded and screwed. Carbon steel and stainless.

1994 - 1996

TOBALL CONSTRUCTION

Employed as a pipefitter on various sites, Ely Paper Mills, Purolite Chemicals, Maxi-Bright Fuels. All sites involved in the fabrication and installation of all sized pipework.

EXPERIENCE:

I am an experienced, qualified pipefitter/fabricator with a wide range of experience in the construction and engineering industry. I have experience of working at chemical plants, power stations, and have experience in the use of all machine shop equipment. I am able to work from site drawings and on my own initiative.

PERSONAL ATRIBUTES:

I enjoy working as part of a team, I have had a lot of experience of this working with different people all over the country. I am reliable, punctual and honest. I enjoy the work that I do and have a lot of experience. I am prepared to travel as I have been travelling all over the country.
