Project: Pensions Transformation Programme
Role: Project Manager for the Northern Ireland Social Security Agency phase of the programme, responsible for the full development lifecycle, and a team of 20 consultants and DWP staff across Newcastle, London and India.

Project Description: Siebel Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. A one-stop call centre service so that UK citizens can resolve questions about retirement and eligibility in a single telephone call. To help achieve this goal, a new Customer Information System was developed to provide all customer service representatives with details for all UK citizens.

My role has covered the following activities:

• Managing the overall systems integration and delivery (scoping/requirements gathering, design, build, test, deploy) of the Pensions CRM solution into two Northern Ireland Pension Centres in Belfast and Londonderry, ultimately delivering an improved public service to Northern Ireland pensioners.
• Resourcing and managing a team of consultants and solutions experts to deliver deliverables to agreed tolerance levels dictated by Project Board
• Detailed Project Planning and Risk Management
• Change Control/Risk/Issue management & governance
• Working with 3rd party solution providers to ensure overall project goals achieved
• Production of Management Information & regular status reporting to senior executive team
• Management and delivery of the Business Process Test Phase.
• Post go-live support management
• Performance and objective setting/reviews for my team
• Providing regular updates to the client and project board via M.I reports
• Developing Earned Value Metrics (MI) for project delivery across design, build, test

Project: SPIRIT Partnership
Description of Project: Detailed business transformation programme aimed at improving the Agency's internal processes as well as enhancing external products and services to the Agency's customers. At the heart of this was the reduction of paper in the Agency by rolling out a scan-line and Electronic Document & Records Management System (EDRMS).
Role: Project Leader - Responsible for the Back Office Systems Integration deliverable of the project, covering scanning and EDRMS.
Methodology used: PRINCE2

My role involved:

Project: EduBase – educational database – website/intranet/helpdesk - http://www.edubase.gov.uk/. Developed according to W3C and Bobby Government Accessibility guidelines.
Description of Project: The up to date database of educational establishments across England and Wales. Development of a Government website/intranet/online helpdesk using Microsoft .NET technologies.
Role: Senior Account Manager. Responsible for a budget of £3million and a team of 15 resources. Involved from bid stage, through managing implementation and support.


Client: Depuy (Johnson & Johnson)
Project: Intranet system for sales field team
Description of Project: Development and deloyment of a bespoke web-based Intranet for the Depuy field sales team. The application allowed them to up-load documents, images and PDF and view them online as part of an integrated sales tool.
Role: Senior Account Manager. Responsible for delivery and ongoing business development

Client: MTV
Project: Videoclash (Europe) SMS voting application
Description of Project: Development and hosting of a bespoke SMS voting application and admin system for MTV. The first system fo its kind in Europe, allowing viewers to vote for their favourite video by SMS, along with a text which was then displayed on the MTV Europe programme in real time.
Role: Senior Account Manager. Responsible for delivery and ongoing business development.

Project: Content managed Website
Description of Project: Development of main Redrow Homes website as well as ongoing development of a variety of micro-sites for each new housing development.
Role: Senior Account Manager. Responsible for delivery and ongoing business development.

Client: Learning & Skills Council
Project: Website/Intranet and Content Management application - www.lsc.gov.uk
Description of Project: Development of dynamic, content managed website and intranet for the Governments Learning & Skills Council. Responsible for all budgetary decisions as well as managing change.
Role: Senior Account Manager. Responsible for a budget of £1.5million and a team of 10 resources. Client facing project/account management role.


Client: Midland Mainline
Project: Website and Content Management application - www.midlandmainline.com
Description of Project: Development of a highly interactive content managed website. Features including: SMS registration and notification of late trains via SMS; targeted online marketing via website personalization.
Role: Senior Account Manager. Responsible for managing team through design, build and test.
