Strategic advice on a property event re-launch, which has now hit all targets.

Six months interim role with Euromoney to advise on the creation of a real estate division covering various media, which led to the successful implementation of Liquid Real Estate magazine and Awards.

One year interim position as MD of a healthcare publishing and events company, with full P & L responsibility managing a staff of 6. Since starting September 2006 increased year on year sales by 50%.

Currently running an agency for exhibition consultancy, outsourced sponsorship sales and event management.

I launched, organised and ran the entire operation including staff recruitment, business planning, accounts, database / website management, logistics and marketing / sales.

Achieved £300K first year revenues and then sold on interest to another exhibition organiser.

MIPIM, held in Cannes, France.


This is the market-leading and highly-respected event of the industry, and the second most profitable exhibition in the world.

• Built personal turnover from zero to £3.5 million per annum and regularly bettered monthly targets.
• Exceptional new business development skills, dealing with the highest levels of management at board level and nurturing after-sale relationships with marketing professionals.
• Planned and implemented successful sales campaigns for two further start-up projects, MAPIC in 1995 - a retail real estate exhibition in Cannes and MIPIM Asia in 1997, a pan-Asian real estate event.
• Prepared sales and promotional literature and planned highly effective marketing / sales campaigns.
• Gained intimate and wide-ranging knowledge of the UK real estate market including developers, investors, corporate end-users, city authorities, international real estate consultants and architects.
• Employed leading PR company and liaised with the national and trade press.
• Assigned to run sales in the New York office for a year, which involved coast to coast meetings, events and selling. It also involved training the new Vice-President of Sales.
