Helping out the company during its busy 2 month period on a temporary basis, it was my duty to maintain the existing websites, redesign the new look of the sites and fully optimise them using approved SEO techniques. This was predominantly using HTML and CSS in Dreamweaver for the overall designs but I also had an introduction into using PHP. Use of Meta tags, keyword rich content, external link building (which I continue to do for the company working from home) and using alt tags with images. I am also conversant with using Google Analytics and Google Adwords in order to find relevant keywords and to track traffic and conversion rates.

Working in a busy office it was my job to call businesses in order to sell them advertising space in a series of publications and to then email them any samples they may require to view before final publication.

It was my duty to call on both existing and potential domestic customers with the aim to offer them the latest tariffs for their gas and electric and also maintain their contracts.

Was required to cold call members of the public and arrange appointments for Sales people to visit their homes at their convenience and also to deal with calls from existing customers in a professional and courteous manner.

On a voluntary basis part-time whilst also working at Staybrite Windows part-time, with the intention of learning the job, I was involved with consulting with the bereaved families and organizing the funeral arrangements with them, ensuring all legal documentation was completed accurately and the correct procedures were followed, other duties included preparation of the deceased for burial/cremation, helping out with the removal of the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals and private residences and pall bearing.

Was responsible for the maintenance and at times the design of the gardens around the residential home and the propagation and planting out of bedding plants and shrubs during the growing season.
