Employment Summary: | I have been working in the IT industry for 10 years, primarily working in the internet industry from service providers to online payment systems and ecommerce. I have a heavy development background and have had exposure to all of the major Internet technologies including (but not limited to):
I am extremely familiar with the application of technology as my rolls have focused on the solutioning side of IT Management as well as strategic. I am currently the IT Solutions Manager (Reporting directly into the Head of IT) for Tube Lines and am responsible for all development and IT solutions within the business. Tube Lines LTD is one of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) contractors that run the London Underground as the IT/IS Development Manager. My key responsibilities are:

Professional Strengths: | I have solid people managerial experience with hands on; I have a very people orientated style and work closely with all staff. I believe in motivation and setting up effective support channels for all staff. Due to my deep understanding and wide experience with development techniques and hands on use of the technology, I have the ability to understand what is required from systems; this also applies to my extensive experience in database design, IT Solutions and Emerging Systems. I have excellent communication and organisational skills, which allow me to work on many projects at one time, whilst striving to achieve set out goals and deadlines. This includes the production of policies and procedures as well as building a solid team and giving technical and strategic direction. These combined with my face to face experience with clients and partners and the management of strategic partnerships and Service Level Agreements give me well rounded management style. I have utilised many QA techniques and have trained in ISO QA standards and was instrumental in Davnet Achieving ISO accreditation in 1998 (the first Telecommunications company in Australia to achieve this).
