* Installation and maintenance of clients - Solaris, AIX, HP-UX.
* Code development to assist team in managing environment - Perl and AIX shell script.
* Unix systems administration on 8 IBM AIX 5.1L machines and 2 Sun Solaris 8 machines.
* Sybase database maintenance (28 dataservers on AIX, 2 on Solaris)

Software Support Team - Back Office 9–5 analysis and support for the CLS application

* Audit solution analysis and improvements.

Redesign of shell and Perl scripts to improve the reliability of the Audit process.

Design (using Perl and DB2) of a system to verify the completeness of each day’s Audit capture and store.

* JCL manipulation to ensure successful batch processing, while minimising need for on-call assistance
* Help desk duties - taking details of and logging work requests for users; assisting users and providing first- and second-level support via NetWizard remote control software.
