co-ordination of High and Low Resolution "Intelligent" Pig surveys to "Pig-able" Oil, Gas, Water & Inter-station lines.

Also planning and co-ordination of Automated Ultrasonic Imaging surveys to "Non-pigable" lines.

Inspection of Post U/T Pipeline Coating repairs.

Maintaining computerised records using 'Windows' Environment Programmes.

Performance of Pipeline Integrity Assessments using ANSI/ASME 31.G and BRA 92 methods.

Duties also included deputation for PDO Pipeline Maintenance Co-ordinator during his vacation periods, dealing with Supervision and Co-ordination of routine Pipeline Pigging and Maintenance Procedures.

In addition the following assignments were undertaken on behalf of Pipeline Engineering (AEF/63) and Corrosion Engineering (AOR/52) Sections.

Acting as PDO Site Representative during Integrity Hydro-testing of existing Wet Gas Pipelines. Witnessing tests to ensure compliance with PDO Testing Specification and Supervising subsequent Pipeline repairs.

Acting as Multi-disciplined Inspector during the installation of "British Gas Type" Epoxy Grouted Repair Sleeves, to numerous Pipelines in North and South Oman.

Acting as Multi-disciplined Inspector / Supervisor, responsible for Inspection, Investigation and Coating repairs to 75 km long Main Oil Pipeline, suffering from major disbondment of External Polyethylene coating.

Supervision of Plant Equipment Inspectors and N.D.T Inspectors.

Day-to-day responsibility for all inspection activities on L.N.G. Plant areas such as Treating, Drying, Fractionation, Cryogenics, Utilities and Gas Liquids recovery units.

Responsible for Plant and Equipment Inspection, on-site welding quality, Boiler inspection and annual shut-down inspection.

In addition, responsible at weekends only for all inspection activities on off-sites area, i.e. Refinery, Desalination Plant, Power Plant, Storage and Loading facilities and Central Workshops.

Formulated and implemented inspection frequency schedules for all L.N.G. Plant Stationary Equipment. Day-to-day and Running Plant liaison with Manufacturing and Maintenance Departments via attendance to daily production meetings.

Also active involvement in projects such as the re-tubing of 22 @ 200,000 Ib per hour Combustion Engineering Steam Boilers.

Responsible for acceptance on final hydro tests for hand over from Contractors to S.O.C. for chemical cleaning and re-commission.

Also active involvement in hydrogen attack survey of Sour Gas vessels and associated piping.

Carried out shut-down inspections on Methanol and Ammonia Plants.

(Plants had previously belonged to National Oil Company of Libya, however, were inherited by Sirte Oil Company).

Duties also included deputation for the Inspection Department Group Head during vacation periods and weekends.
