My professional experience includes working in all aspects of communications such as website development, PR, publications, magazine launches, fundraising and events for charities. I have also worked on large online projects for central government department (the development of schoolsweb at the DCSF and the launch of directgov at the cabinet office) and built relationships with complex stakeholder groups.

I am a trained journalist and my writing and photography has been published in various newspapers, magazines and charity publications including Guardian Education Section, Sunday Express, Disability Now, Woman’s Weekly, Sevenoaks Chronicle, Living Spain, and Children’s Book News. Other copywriting includes producing leaflets, features, speeches, advertorials, annual reports and website copy.

I am a Governor at my son’s school and have project-managed the development of a new school website.
I am also Chair of the pre-school management committee which means that I am responsible for overseeing the annual budget (£80K) and ensuring that the organisation follows Ofsted and early years guidelines.
