I have thirty two years design/drawing office experience, mostly in the offshore oil and gas industry, but also the chemical, defence, food, and water industries. Covering Architectural, Building, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Marine, Piping, and Structural disciplines.
My experience with Autocad totals about 4 years from release 10 to 2005, and over 19 years with Microstation from version 3 to V8 XM. Much of my work over the last 10 years has involved 3D modelling and visualisation. Previousl to the CAD era, I worked for 12 years on the drawing board.
Since October 2005 I have owned a Microstation license, enabling me to work natively on Autocad and Microstation drawings and models in my own office. Also to keep up to date with the software, and training.
