Project: Live Notification Platform (LNP)
LNP is an enterprise class, multi channel message and content delivery technology for the enterprise and delivers ShouldKnow information directly to the most appropriate device (computer, handheld, mobile phone) via the most appropriate channel. It scaled to handle hundreds of hits every minute. I was involved throughout the life cycle and was responsible for R&D, requirement gathering, architecture designing, development/coding, testing, deployment and documentation. The major tools & technologies in use are MS .Net Framework 2.0/3.0 (C#, Asp.Net, Jscript.Net), Visual Studio 2005, SQL server 2005, MSMQ, Data-caching, SVN, Nant, NUnit, Agile development (Scrum).

Achievements:
• Due to business requisite, I was the first person who delves into MS .Net and developed “Log Relay Server” using C#, which overcame the memory leaks in existing system. The server successfully passed the load testing by handling 100k web hits in 5 minutes.
• Designed a Gateway Server in C# using Singleton patterns and data serialization. It uses data caching technology to reduce DB roundtrips and has enhanced the performance to achieve the targets.
• Designed and developed wrapper classes for MSMQ 3.0 to provide internal, external (DTC) transaction handling in clustered environment.
• Designed and developed a Gateway Routing Server. It processes the logic embedded in message agents and intelligently routes them to appropriate device(s) e.g Computer, mobile device, Black Berry, email etc. The Gateway can also be deployed on multiple servers (distributed environment) to synchronize the current state to avoid multiple deliveries.
• Developed password strength checker using AJAX technology and created a formula to encrypt the password scores.
• Developed a prototype application for mobile devices to receive and display messages.
