The first part of my career was as the Managing Director of a successful business media company running a team of 40 people, 6 publications and an international event series. In 2004 I retired from the board and sold my equity and took a year sabbatical to be with my family. In 2005 in joined an internet development and consultancy business creating ecommerce websites for pan European customers of which I am still a shareholder. With a strong background in marketing and sales I have run the day-to-day operations of business development, supplier relations, contract negotiations, financial management, market development and HR, affording me a keen insight into designing and implementing successful business/project strategies and managing a business for growth.
