Trained in graphic design, I worked for several years as a graphic designer, an art director for a Games company, and then as a designer and animator for a Post production house.
In 2004 I moved to London to take up a place at the National Film & Television School, studying Direction for Animation. While there I directed short films in a wide variety of forms, culminating in my graduation film Mad World which went on to be screened in competition at Hiroshima, Melbourne, Ottowa, Anima Mundi among others. It was nominated for Best British animation at the 2006 Edinburgh International Film Festival, and Best Finnish animation at Tampere Film Festival 2007. The Royal Television Society here in the UK also nominated it for Best Post Graduate Animation 2007. The film was also selected for UK Film Council’s “Best of British Short Film” showcase and Aardman’s New Talent Showcase.
Recently I've been directing pop promos and a short documentary project, as well as doing animation work for advertising, art and a feature film projects. The most recent work I’ve done design for a children’s book and a web pages for a restaurant.
