I have a strong background in both sales and media. I am creative and have excellent IT skills. I have been involved in product launches and direct sales to clients. I am well presented and have excellent communication skills. I have strong interpersonal abilities and am able to deal with people at all levels while remaining calm at all times. • I met with existing clients to ensure they were happy with the media format and identify any concerns they may have therefore pre-empting potential account problems before they arose
• After initial telephone contact I would visit potential prospects on-site to understand their requirements and gain orders from them for future business
• I concentrated on developing new sales strategies and following the market for new media products as they appeared

Project co-ordinator / Account Manager
• Cooler Media was started to promote and advertise new products based around the water cooler market.
• I was responsible for putting in place the companies IT systems at the point of start-up. I acted as the main point of contact for the clients.
• I developed their website and ensured full implementation
• Overall the company ran 500 advertising campaigns and I liaised with clients such as Fitness First, BT and Marks & Spencer.
• In 2003 I was involved in producing an outdoor media campaign centred around the leisure industry. This came about from securing a sponsorship deal worth over £400k with British Airways.
• Cooler Media merged with Get Noticed and I transferred to that company to concentrate on a more sales based role.

• While completing my degree I joined an agency in London and undertook a number of short term temporary assignments to gain office experience.
• I did assignments using MS Office to create presentations for the analysts at clients such as Merrill Lynch, Deutsch bank and Schroders Saloman Smith Barney.
• This developed my PC and presentation skills and meant I learned to work to deadlines.
• I liaised with the workflow co-ordinator to prioritise the urgency of each presentation and to develop a timeline.
• I also worked temporarily within the agency internally assisting them in putting potential candidates on to the PC tests, following up references and ensuring all paperwork was in place. They employed me to do this at very busy times to ensure that all internal administration was kept up to date.
