Technical Skills obtained:

• Supporting a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory, TCP/IP based network, supporting DHCP, DNS, domain accounts, network printers, Sophos Anti-virus and other network administration and operations
• Server hardware break fix of HP Proliant and IBM Bladecentre systems and associated rack mounted hardware, KVM units, LTO, DLT, DAT tape drives/libraries
• I am HP certified to install, repair, integrate and support HP Proliant servers but able to adapt to other similar platforms such as IBM or Dell
• Able to diagnose and order specific spare parts in order to repair defective equipment; also experienced in the use of ESD techniques to safely repair static sensitive equipment
• Experience with redundant systems such as RAID, network teaming, hot-plug technologies and other methods designed to increase system availability
