PRODUCTION & FACILITIES ENGINEER

Part of the development team for the new Nissan Primera at the time, my role was to support and develop new assembly facilities and modification of existing tooling and equipment on the assembly line to accommodate the new model. Development of a complete cell for the sub-assembly of the dashboard, and mechanism, for the assembly of the dashboard into the vehicle. Implementation of high capability electronic controlled tooling for safety critical assemblies in the line (RR axle hub sub assembly). Modification of the engine sub-assembly support jigs, to accommodate the new engine designs. (Industrial Placement during University)

COMPUTERS: Proficient use of Microsoft Applications, Lotus Notes, and development of basic databases in Lotus Notes.
