EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Jan 01 to present UNIVERSAL SCIENTIFIC INDUSTRIAL CO. (UK) LTD.

MASTER SCHEDULER

Currently working in a sub-contracting environment, building electronic equipment as required by our customers.

Responsibilities:Analysing new orders and ensuring the acquisition community are aware of the material required to satisfy the orders, feeding back to the customer any supply issues. Once received I will ensure that the material is allocated to the correct order, based on customer priorities. Release orders to Production, working closely with them to ensure that the builds are manufactured to the finished units in the correct order and in a timely fashion to meet customer commit dates. When cancellations are received I analyse them and act appropriately to minimise any excess inventory of both the finished units and components.

My involvement in the New Products Introduction team is ensuring that when the orders are placed on us, we have Bills of Material available and that the master data is available and accurate. In many cases I work with acquisitions, who will be working the supply of material before the final BOMs are available.

Implement the weekly forecast received from the customer, which looks out three months and drives us to plan the supply of material ahead of firm order drops. I report daily to the customer on commit dates for all entries on the order book, listing dates when unreleased orders will be released and working with Production and the sales desk to commit actual ship dates on released orders. Also daily, I analyse any aged orders to ensure builds that are late are being prioritised to clear them as soon as possible.

As my group's SAP Superuser, I am the first port of call for anyone who has a problem with the system, whether it be understanding the system logic, the discovery of a system problem or trying to get information from SAP. If I cannot help then I report their issue to the correct person and work with them to resolve the issue.
