Stryker UK is one of the largest suppliers of medical engineering equipment in the UK. My role as Technical Services Manager involved substantial travel throughout the UK and Ireland. Meeting with clients and healthcare professionals to discuss their needs within the framework of a service contract. This ranged from organising repairs and servicing as part of a contract or the installation of new equipment. I was the project manager on several key installations across the UK with budgets up to £1m. Utilising excellent man-management skills and experience gained from previous project management roles, I was successful in delivering each project on time and within budget.

Recruited on a fixed term contract, I was tasked with turning around a contract which had become unprofitable. Muni-Serv is a specialist Engineering Company who repair and maintain municipal vehicles and equipment under contract. I undertook the re-organisation of staffing levels and working times to comply with the contract commitments. I also negotiated new terms with suppliers. (This alone bought the contract back into profit). I Increased the equipment turnover and reduced down time by 20%. This ensured client satisfaction and long term stability.
