Principal Management Consultant with a specialist management consultancy company predominantly involved in the high-risk and externally-regulated industries. Well qualified with an MA degree in Strategic HRM, an MSc in Business Management and a PhD from research into partnering and collaborative working. To complement his academic achievements his experience is recognized with Fellowship of four UK professional institutions: the Association of Project Management, Chartered Management Institute, Institute of Business consulting and Institute of Engineering andf Technology. He has over 30 years experience across a number of sectors, most notably in high-technology where his activities have included a wide range of management system developments, risk management, project management, and people-focused performance improvements in both private and public sectors. Experienced in BPR, workshop facilitation, EFQM and Change Management.

Has undertaken specialist consultancy work in Russia, Belarus, Tatarstan, the Ukraine, Libya, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Indonesia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UK. In addition he has designed and delivered management training as part of a European Union co-operation programme in Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and India.

Has written over 40 refereed publications, professional journal articles, text-book contributions and conference presentations. His first book specifically for managers and management consultants “The Essential Management Toolbox” was published in 2008. His book on Risk and Financial Management in Construction is due to be published in February 2009.
