CV
I have experience in all stages of the research process, from questionnaire design to complex data analysis and the production of high quality reports. I work primarily for a broadband market research company as a quantitative analyst and regularly produce a range of consumer and business deliverables on broadband and related telecoms topics. In addition, I produce outputs on ad hoc topics of interest, whether they be for P.R. purposes or specifically for a client who has commissioned them. I have some free time on my hands and am keen to carry out analysis and write reports using my skills and expertise. I am open minded on the subject matter as I have a range of interests. Telecommunications is my main area but I also have an interest in a range of policy and population health issues.
Employment History
(Jul 2007 & ongoing)
Research Analyst
LondonInitially, I worked on broadband operaror profiles and broadband statistics. Primary duties included compiling both world broadband subscriber figures and world broadband tariff figures and presenting results coherently in quarterly reports for subscribers. I was also responsible for editing Internet service provider profiles for all incumbent operators covered by the service as well as a range of overviews depicting the state of play in the telecommunications arena for individual countries.
After a short period, I began working on the company's Broadband User Service. This involved more in-depth quantitative data analysis and the creation of a range of deliverables for subscribers addressing various aspects of consumer, business and mobile broadband. My work in this role includes survey set-up, questionnaire design, data analysis using SPSS and Excel, regular report writing (for core deliverables, occasional consultancy work and ad hoc topics of interest), contributions to the P.R. department and attending forums to keep abreast of new developments.
