• Production of build scripts for automated windows server build framework, VB 6.0 based tail utility to log event information to screen, works in the WinPE 2.0 and Sysprep portions of the server build.
• Thinstall 3.22 evaluation; fed back changes and assisted in the design of framework for use within packaging teams.
• VDI proof of concept; ESX 3.0 used to host XP desktops access pooled and controlled via Leostream broker.

• Development of Windows .Net service to control wireless network usage on laptop build, generically discovers wireless device and turns it off automatically, when the laptop is connected to corporate network via LAN.
• Enhancement of Sophos AV system utilities. Additional ASP.Net utilities developed to monitor current antivirus server shares status. Scripts written to automate the un-installation and repair of installed client.
• Planning, feasibility testing and specification of move to Mcafee AV suite using ePolicy Orchestrator.
• Proof of concept implementation of project to show the mapping of user to the logged on workstation in near real-time, developed using local COM+ objects to record the logged on user state via a Windows Service written in VB.Net this writes back the logged on state of a workstation to an Active Directory Application partition. Built reporting and search tools in ASP.Net, allowing user’s workstation(s) location to be ascertained.
• Design of kiosk workstation implementation based on current bank standard XP build, 3rd line troubleshooting of desktop issues, nuts and bolts type investigation work such as why processes are racing, identifying faulty drivers in build, registry based errors etc.
