CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS

· Introduced planned maintenance programme at Vimto Soft Drinks in order to reduce unplanned downtime.

· I have written the Health and safety policy, an Engineering Departmental Manual to aid future site inductions, Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P's), documentation control, and start up/shut down procedures, Health & Safety and procedures for the control of contractors. The manual has become the standard for all other departments within Vimto Soft Drinks.

· Overall design, management and installation of all site utility metering, saving £2,500 to £3,000 a week.

· Raised the skill levels of all Elect/Mechanical engineers in the department, by introducing the correct procedures of terminating cables, use of test equipment, managing the site distribution system, safe systems of work, up to date legislation and training.
