CV

After leaving school I completed an apprenticeship with a company in Manchester and at West Wythenshawe Collage where I achieved ULCI qualifications in electrical science and electrical regulations.

My first maintenance job was at Manchester University computer building for five years starting at age 21. I have always worked as a maintenance electrician as detailed in my C.V. until my most recent job at SHS International which was as multi skilled engineering technician. SHS is a manufacturer of Gluten free Bread products. During my time at SHS I achieved qualifications in pneumatics, 16th edition regulations, food hygiene, and completed courses in manual handling, fork lift truck and a fire marshal course: I also have City and Guilds qualifications, parts 2 and 3 in 224 electronics I have worked with PPM systems and to ISO 9001 standards and was responsible for all calibrations of measuring equipment in order to maintain ISO accreditation within a food manufacturing environment. I have designed and built many control panels for a variety of automated machines including systems utilizing PLC controls, the programs for these systems I have designed at home on my PC. I also have an electronics design simulator which I use to build electronic circuits both for work related projects and as a hobby. For the last ten years I have worked a shift system with only one engineer per shift with full responsibility for all electrical and mechanical breakdowns and repairs in a Gluten free Bakery until the factory closed down and relocated. I was responsible for sourcing all materials and spares and prioritizing my work load. I have recently started work at a Direct Mail company.

My time keeping and attendance records are excellent.
