EDUCATION

January 2000-

March 2001

ECDL-license and other computer courses.

30 years ago I studied economics and languages. My parents and siblings are born in Norway, so Norwegian is what we speak at home.

WORK EXPERIENCE

February 2006-ongoing

Started 8 Month temp with Shell Finance/AR in Glasgow, doing cash allocating and investigating payments in error e g, for Scandinavia. I make a lot of calls to customers to sort out accounts for different reasons and to banks to sort out payments. The position was made permanent 1st May.

August 2005-February 2006

Temping with various agencies, e g Hudson, Spring, as admin/receptionist at e g REGUS Businesscentre, Marsh, Scottish Screen in Glasgow, which teached me lot of how different the work can be and that gave me great experience and references.

February 2005-August 2005

Permanent position as Key Account Executive at Coilcraft Europe Ltd in Cumbernauld. I was responsible for Key Accounts in Scandinavia, from they call, fax or email their order to me, until delivery. I made sure that my customers got the correct pricing, that products was shipped in time to reach them the day they wanted delivery. I dealt with complaints e g incorrect invoices that were sent out from account-department, or if the wrong product was delivered made by errors in stores e g.

My biggest responsibility and one of Coilcrafts 3 biggest accounts was a Swedish mobile phone company, who I also been to Stockholm/Kista to meet with. But I had 5-6 companies in Norway and also in Denmark that was my Key Accounts.

I took calls from the rest of Europe and Asia, e g the Swedish mobile companys China offices and from other customers that was not big enough to have their own Key Account executive. I had a lot of customers in UK that preferred to deal with me, even if all of us in the office took UK calls.

A girl that has been off sick for almost a year, suddenly came back and I was paid off.

August 2004-February 2005

Norwich Union, which is part of Aviva, UK:s biggest insurance group. The position was permanent. I helped customers to get their life insurance up and running when they had a mortgage set up. I got in touch with GP:s to arrange for medicals e g. I sometimes had calls from customer's relatives when someone passed away.

April 2004-August 2004.

Employed by Reed Insurance, to work at Higham Group for Legal & General. The position was temp for reed insurance.

January 2004-April 2004

Permanent with Honeywell, as a Global Customer Care Specialist for Scandinavia. Unfortunately Honeywell miscalculated the call volume from Sweden/Norway, I had a call every 3 rd or 4 th day! So I left just before my 3 Month ended to find a new job and be available for that without a notice period. Since there were no calls, Honeywell didn't have a problem with that.

June 2002-January 2004

I worked for Manpower/Ibm on a permanent basis. I was the RDM/Nordic (Recourse Deployment Manager) + backup for UK &Ireland, in the OTU team at IBM/Greenock. I had contact with IBM sponsors, I was a sales team-member in every opportunity IBM had in the Nordic countries+Iceland & Faraoislands & UK & Ireland.

The telesales- and telecoverage representatives. in the Nordic countries sent their opportunities to me and I checked the information in it and if everything was according to process, I transferred it to the next sell cycle and to Omnotes database. It involved millions of Euro and mistakes would signified big consequences for IBM.

If there were anything wrong with the opportunity or if information that was needed, were missing, I rejected it. I was on the phone with my salesteam-colleagues in their home countries almost every day. I also updated databases when needed.

I edited the Monthly Newsletter "Brainstorm" which was my own making, for: OTU, BOT, PRT and Co Marketing-teams.

April 2002- June 2002

Manpower Kristianstad as receptionist/telephone-operator. My assignment was at ABK, a very big local property-agency, who has apartments for letting in Kristianstad. I helped the tenants to get in touch with the right person when they had a problem in their homes or in case of emergency. I also took care of visitors in the building.

March 2001-April 2002

At 118 118 ( Swedish directory) as a telephone-operator. Many calls were from people who didn't know where to find help for whatever they needed, e g VISAS and passport etc.

1980-1984

Worked for an Insurance-company in Sweden, Scandia. Sold home/building/car/life-insurance on the phone from home in the evenings when my kids were asleep. I also helped customers out in case of emergency.

Housewife in Sweden.

1979

Receptionist in the main reception at The Blekinge Royal Hospital in Karlshamn.
